Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs.35000/- per month
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : (i) Candidates should have Master’s in Conservation with 55 % marks. (ii) Good Working knowledge of computer.
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : Experience of research and documentation related to the project.

Age limit ( आयु सीमा ) : Not to exceed 40 years on the last date of issue of this advertisement. Relaxation in age for deserving candidates, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the competent authority of this Institute.

General instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : It is amply clarified that above engagement will be purely casual/contractual initially for a period of one year or completion of the above mentioned project whichever is earlier and subject to performance of the selected candidate as the case may be. Under no circumstances the above Research Fellow will be considered as Institute’s employee or may claim for regularization in future as the contractual arrangement is meant for the Project on “Traditional Materials, Techniques and Development of Palm Leaf Manuscripts in India” only.

The National Museum Institute of the History of Art, Conservation and Museology was formed and registered on January 27, 1989 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and was accorded the status of ‘Deemed to be University’ on April 28, 1989.
